In 2009, after the liberalization of the electricity market in Spain, and after many procedures, bureaucracy and continuous learning, a small electricity and gas marketer called Orus Energía was founded: the birth of the future Audax Group. It is a start from scratch, with a very small structure, where the invoices were printed, folded and sent by hand. Thanks to adapting to change, commercial vision and constant effort, it was possible to turn around a stagnant electricity market dominated by large traditional companies.
Little by little, Orus gained a foothold in the market thanks to innovative policies aimed at streamlining processes and facilitating sales to commercial channels, investing in continuous training and launching new customer-oriented products. In 2011, growth rates of 3 digits were achieved, which made it possible to acquire the trading company Audax and achieve exponential growth. Audax continued to improve its processes, innovating and creating new products to meet market needs and start expanding outside the national market.
In 2013 Audax began its internationalization by entering the Portuguese market and is currently present in 9 countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, France, Panama and Hungary with plans to continue growing.
