ADX RENOVABLES will supply more than 7.8 million kWh of electricity per year to the companies that make up TMB for four years.

▪ All energy supplied will be of renewable origin.

March 13, 2025.–  Adx Renewables, Audax Renovables Group's marketing company, has been awarded the 100% of the electricity supply provided for in the tender corresponding to the contracting of the supply of low voltage electricity to the companies that make up TMB: Transports de Barcelona SA, Ferrocarril Metropolità de Barcelona SA, Projectes i Serveis de Mobilitat SA. The contract signed by ADX with these entities has determined an awarded volume of more than 7.82 GWh/year.

All of the energy supplied will be of renewable origin, thus reinforcing the commitment that TMB's companies have to the environment and to renewable and sustainable energy.

ADX Renovables was the energy company that submitted the best proposal, beating out four other operators such as Endesa and Gas Natural, for 143 low-voltage supply points in TMB, with the contract value amounting to more than €3,245,379.03 (VAT not included).

The contract was awarded to OMIE under the Indexed Price option, with the possibility of hedging. Under this option, TMB's goal is to execute the hedge to convert to a fixed price before the start of each month, thereby taking advantage of the windows of opportunity offered by the futures market and ensuring control over the final price paid.

This method offers several advantages in terms of consumption control and monitoring, but especially for TMB, by periods, it allows for the creation of hedges for greater budgetary control.

Marc Blasi, Country Manager of Audax Renovables in Spain, notes: “We offer a high-quality energy service to public administrations. Our bid was the highest rated, considering not only price, but also other aspects such as service capacity and speed of response.” “This new contract is further proof that we are capable of providing reliable services at very competitive prices,” he adds.
