Audax Energía closes its 3rd bond issue

Audax Energía, electricity and gas marketer, has closed its 3rd bond issue with great reception from investors since it has covered 100% of the issues. The issuance of a Senior Unsecured bond has been closed for a definitive amount of 35,000,000 euros, with a term of 5 years.

The operation has sparked great interest among bondholders thanks to the good performance of the company since its inception. The 2014 bondholders have been offered the option to extend the bond as well as new investors have been admitted.

With this successful operation, Audax achieves financial stability for the next three years, since the first bond maturity will not be until 2022. The aforementioned issue will allow the company to restructure its debt, diversify its financing sources and be able to undertake new challenges and development projects. future to continue growing.

This operation confirms the confidence of investors in Audax Energía, especially in view of the recently announced merger with the listed Audax Renovables, which will take place during the first quarter of 2019. The resulting company will boost its growth and profitability thanks to the synergies of the vertical integration of renewable energy marketing and generation activities.

In this issue, Audax has had PKF ATTEST as registered advisor, with legal advice from Garrigues, with financial advice from E&Y, and Beka Finance and Ever Capital as underwriters.

The group chaired by Jose Elias continues to support renewable energies: it is currently managing the development of a portfolio of approximately 1,500 MWh in photovoltaic technology and working on the negotiation of long-term bilateral power purchase agreements: PPA (acronym for Power Purchase Agreement).

Last May, the credit rating agency Axesor ratified Audax Energía's BBB- credit rating with a stable trend after studying the company's latest operations, such as the strategic alliance with the marketing company Unieléctrica.
