Audax Energy in Germany

The electrical energy marketer Audax Energía, after its entry and consolidation in the Portuguese and Italian markets, decides to continue expanding internationally with its entry into Germany.

Since this January Audax Energía has been present in the German market where it has opened a subsidiary, Audax Energie GmbH, with headquarters in Hoyerswerda, a town located about 160 km from Berlin. The company will market electricity through its own commercial network and expects to reach a turnover of 1.5 million euros by the end of 2015.

Audax Energía affirms that it will develop products appropriate to the needs and particularities of the German market and will have very competitive rates with which its customers will achieve savings on their electricity bill.
This will allow the marketer to enter one of the main energy markets in the European Union, with more than 3 million SMEs, which is mainly the type of client that Audax Energía is aimed at.

Audax Energía was established in Portugal in 2013 and is currently the 8th largest supplier in the Portuguese electricity market. In the first half of 2014 it entered the Italian market through the acquisition of a company and quadrupling its turnover within the same year.
Audax Energía intends to continue growing internationally by entering other countries in the European Union and evaluating its possible entry into South America.

The innovation and constant expansion of Audax Energía has allowed it to be in 9th position in the Spanish electricity market with more than 47,500 customers and to double its turnover in 2014 compared to the previous year, exceeding 320 million euros at the end of 2014.
