Audax Renovables is awarded the contract to supply 53 million kWh of electricity from renewable 100% sources to the Oviedo City Council

The agreement could amount to 10 million euros to supply electricity to the City Council's more than 1,300 low-voltage supply points.

Audax Renovables (ADX.MC), a vertically integrated Spanish energy group that generates and supplies 100% electricity of renewable origin and gas to customers in 7 countries, has won the public tender called by the Oviedo City Council to supply electricity to all of its points powered at low voltage. 

Audax Renovables has been the energy company that has presented the best proposal for the more than 1,300 low voltage supply points of the Oviedo City Council. This is an agreement that could amount to 10 million euros to supply 53 million kWh of electricity from renewable 100% sources.

The contract has been awarded in the fixed price modality, with the Oviedo City Council ensuring stability in the cost of electricity for the two-year duration of the contract at a time of high volatility in the energy markets. 

Oviedo is recognized as one of the cities with the highest quality of life in Europe according to the European Commission and will thus strengthen its commitment to the environment by consuming 100% electricity of renewable origin.
