Audax Renovables will supply 88 million KWh of renewable electricity from 100% to the Community of Madrid

The sum of the more than 2,000 supply points that make up the contract would amount to 25 million euros in a single year.

Audax Renovables (ADX.MC), a vertically integrated Spanish energy group that generates and supplies renewable 100% electricity and gas to customers in 7 European countries, has been awarded the public tender called by the Community of Madrid to supply electricity to four of its twelve lots. The contest has a period of one year starting on March 1, 2022 with the possibility of being extended for an additional 6 months.

Audax Renovables has been the energy company that has presented the best proposal for lots 9, 10, 11 and 12 and has consequently been awarded the free market contract for all of the energy in these lots. This is an agreement to supply more than 88 million KWh of electricity from renewable 100% sources in a single year. The sum of the more than 2,000 supply points that make up the contract would amount to 25 million euros during this period.

The supply of electrical energy is essential for the Community of Madrid to carry out its activity. Audax Renovables will supply electricity of 100% renewable origin to the Ministry of Education, Universities and Science, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Policy, as well as other supply points belonging to various ministries of the Madrid's community.

The contract has been awarded in the fixed price modality, thus ensuring the Community of Madrid stability in the energy cost for the delivery period and its possible extension at a time of high volatility in the energy markets.

Audax Renovables, a group that focuses its activity on the generation and marketing of renewable 100% energy, has long positioned itself as one of the most active energy operators in Spain, marketing to large consumers in the private sector, public administrations, SMEs, and residential areas.
