Audax's new solar project in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo)
The photovoltaic plant will generate 10,125 MWh/year, equivalent to the energy consumption of 3,375 homes and around 8,400 people.
TOudax Renewables, Vertically integrated Spanish energy group that generates 100% renewable energy and supplies electricity and gas to customers in 7 European countries, has begun the process of building a new photovoltaic plant in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), a project under the name of El Madroño.
The photovoltaic plant will be equipped with 7,692 photovoltaic modules and will have a total power of 5.6 MWpIt will also generate 10,125 MWh/year, equivalent to the energy consumption of 3,375 households and around 8,400 people.
Audax Renovables' commitment to clean energy will prevent the emission of approximately 2,025 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere per year. This clean energy will also be transported via a 20kV line, with a total length of 2.5 kilometers.
Marc Farriol, Managing Director of Power Generation at Audax Renovables, has stated that "The construction of this new photovoltaic plant in Talavera de la Reina reflects our commitment to the energy transition and decarbonization. At Audax, we are committed to projects that generate economic, social, and environmental value for the communities in which we operate."
Audax Renovables: Vertical integration, generation and marketing
Audax Renovables continues to set the pace in the renewable energy sector with a significant portfolio of projects in Spain, France, Poland, Italy, Portugal, and Panama.
The energy group currently manages a 100% renewable generation portfolio of 1,037 MW, composed of wind and photovoltaic assets. Of these, 680 MWp are in a very advanced stage of processing, 32 MWp are under construction, and another 325 MW are in operation.
Specifically, in terms of photovoltaic plants, Audax Renovables currently has 168 MWp in operation, 32 MWp under construction, and 301 MWp under development.
The energy supplied, for its part, reaches 15.5 TWh per year (10.6 TWh electricity and 4.9 TWh gas). The Audax Group currently has 100% renewable generation assets in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Panama, Poland, and France, and also supplies energy in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Hungary.
