The Government extends electricity prices

The Ministry of Industry has sent to the Council of State a new draft version of the royal decree on the mechanism for reviewing the domestic electricity price in which June 1, and not April 1 initially planned, is set as the date for the implementation of the new methodology, sector sources told Europa Press. The extension occurs after Industry contacts with the main electricity companies to address the new mechanism, in which the companies expressed their concern about the technical complexity of adapting the meter fleet and billing systems to the new scenario in just one month. .
